Hi I'm Michael

I was born with spinal bifida and live in Camarillo California. I'm a gear head, car detailer, a loving friend, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love cars of all types, on road or off road. I love most motorsports except nascar. I know just about everything about modern cars, gas and diesels. My favorite motor sport is the World Rally Championships. I have spinal bifida but I don't let that get me don't or effect the things I like to do. I love mountain biking, skiing, hiking, and anything outdoors and I earned my eagle scout rank. When I was twelve years old I earned my black belt in Tae Kwon Do. I love detail cars. I love doing it because I love getting the reaction from my clients when their cars look better than when they bought it at the dealership. I love helping, helping people its just part of my nature and why I served a mission.

Why I am a Mormon

As I have mentioned above I have spinal bifida, but Heavenly Father has blessed my even before I was born. When I was still in my mother's whom my dad who is a member of the church was told by my doctor that I was going to have spinal bifida. What that means is that the the skin doesn't grow over the spine which allows the spinal fluid to leak out and parralizes the victum. My dad gave me a blessing with the proper authority and power of God while I was still in my mother's. When I was born I was rushed in to emergancy surgery and then the doctors saw that a fatty tumor had grown over my spinal cord to prevent the fluid from leaking out. Every doctor I have met has told me that there was no possible way that tumor can grow out of nothing. Heavenly Father has blessed me even before I was born and still continues to bless me. I have a few more stories where Heavenly Father has made devine intervention. That is why I have joined the same church Christ set up when He walked the face of this earth, now known as The chruch of Jesus Christ of latter-day saint. This is also why I chose to serve a mission to bring others to the church that they're looking for.

How I live my faith

I continue to bear testimony of Heavenly Father's blessings in my life to others. To delelope myself to be more like Christ as much as I can. To follow his example. I do my best in following the commandments of God because I know for a fact that it will make my life better than anything else. The Lord has said for to obey is greater than to sacrifice. What I have is a gift (spinal bifida) to always remember what He has done for me. I am serving a mission in Fortworth, Texas to invite others to come unto christ by helping them recieve the restored gospel through faith in Jesus Christ and His Atonement, repentance, baptism, reciving the gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end. I know without a single doubt that this is the true church that Jesus Christ set up on this earth when He ministered here and that it has been restored through the prophet Joseph Smith along with the proper authority and priestood of God. I bear witness and I'm proof to that which has been stated, and I testify of these things in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Why don’t Mormons drink coffee, tea, or alcohol? What is the Mormon Church’s law of health and proper diet?

Our body is like a house. I'm pretty sure you don't want you house to be a disgusting mess when you have company over. Its is the same when Christ promised the Holy Ghost to be with us if we are physically clean as well as spiritually clean. Our father as revealed that if we abstain from these sustains such as tobacco, alcohol, tea, coffee, and illegal drugs then we will have and feel his spirit more abundantly in our lives. It also allows you bodies to function at is best and the way God intended it to function. I'm pretty sure that is what we all want. I know that it has blessed my life spiritually and physically and is can bless yours as you live it. Show more Show less
