Hi I'm Bryce.

I am a full-time missionary in McAllen, Texas. I love soccer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently serving as a missionary in the Texas McAllen Mission. It is the greatest experience of my life and I love serving the Lord and helping others come closer to Christ. I as well love to play soccer and will be attending Brigham Young University on my return home.

Why I am a Mormon

One of the most important things being a Mormon is happiness. The Church really sets up great standards, not to be strict, but to help guide you in life and keep you happy. Living the true Gospel does supply joy in your life as you go about each and every day looking forward to the next. Another important aspect of being a Mormon is the knowledge. As a person who is always looking for why things are and searching for discovery in mystery, the Church provides many answers. I know why I was sent here on Earth and that I have a mission while I am here. I know that I can always pray to my Heavenly Father and I can receive answers to my prayers. I know that as I continue to live the Gospel, I will continue to gain more knowledge and be content and joyful in this life.

How I live my faith

One thing I enjoy is service. I love being able to see the happiness brought into the lives of others by a selfless act. My career dreams include becoming a doctor. The main reason is that I enjoy helping others. My faith and testimony has made service as a part of myself to care for others as I want the Savior to care for me. Service truly brings happiness to both yourself and to others around you.

Mormons believe Jesus Christ is their Savior. Why do we need a Savior?

Bryce.
Our Savior, Jesus Christ, came to Earth to do what none of us could do for ourselves or others. He paid the price of sin so that we have the potential to live with him again. His act, called the Atonement, was so great that He bled from every pore and suffered beyond our understanding and comprehension. Because of Christ, repentance and the remission of our sins is possible. It is through Christ we are made whole. The Atonement is a deep gospel principle with many other advantages and gifts connected to it. All that God asks is that we do our best and then Christ, our advocate, makes up the difference, and pleads on our side for eternal life. I know that Christ lives and that He suffered for each individual and for every sin or suffering. He truly knows of what we go through. We just need to come unto Him and be cleansed through Christ.
