Hi I'm Garet

I'm a Utahn, I'm a Missionary, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Sandy, Utah until my family moved the long distance to Draper. Graduated High School in 2010, then went to a year of College. I love woodworking and electrical work, and of course video games, camping, atving and spending time with my family. I'm currently now serving as a Full-time Missionary in the Louisiana Baton Rouge Mission. I really love anything to do with building and trying to figure out to be more efficient in all that I try to do. I like to joke and mess around but you would never guess that.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because I know it is the true, I have felt that peace and joy that Reading the Book of Mormon brings into our lives. I know Jesus Christ is my Savior and Redeemer that He atoned for us so that we can be forgiven of our sins through repentance and faith in him. Without Christ we would be lost and I know that God the Father and Jesus Christ appeared before Joseph Smith and told him that the Gospel would be restored through him, by the Power of God, the Priesthood Authority, God's permission, to perform the saving ordinances, such as baptism, could once again be performed on the Earth. I know that Thomas S. Monson is our Prophet here on the Earth Today, to help guide us as we endure to the end to once again return and live with God the Father and his Son Jesus Christ. Most of All I know that God is our Loving Heavenly Father who wants the best for all his children and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is God's Church once again established on the Earth for the blessing of all his Children everywhere.

How I live my faith

I live my faith, by praying daily to my Heavenly Father, reading the Scriptures to come closer to him, and by attending Church and other meeting each Sunday. Soon I will be living my Faith by serving as a Full-time Missionary, where I will be represent our Savior Jesus Christ by inviting all to Come unto him so that they may experience the happiness I have been blessed with in my life, and so that they can know that they have a loving Heavenly Father who gave his only begotten son to suffer and die for us so that we can return to live with him again. Heavenly Father has given me everything I have in my entire life the least I can do is to serve a mission to help guide his children to the path that leads to eternal life, a path that will give them strength and happiness. To lift others and to strengthen them is what the Savior showed us that we must do as his disciples and I try each and everyday to see those who I can help, no matter how big or small it may be, I remember that the Lord said "Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me."
