Hi I'm Bobby

I'm a husband, a father, and a Limited Duty Officer in the United Stated Navy. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love being a husband and father, and I love being an Officer in the United States Navy. I am a Subaru nut (specifically WRX STi's), and I drive a blue 2004 Subaru WRX STi that I love working on (*when I get the chance!). I play computer games, and read lots of books. I also love watching just about any sport. I'm always routing for Arizona teams, but have a soft spot for the NY Yankees (woot)!

Why I am a Mormon

I married a life-long Mormon woman, and after being married for a few years, and being visited by quite a few pairs of Missionaries, I realized what I really knew all along. The Book of Mormon is true, and Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. I was baptized, and a year later, went through the greatest event of my life when I was sealed in the Temple to my family for all eternity.

How I live my faith

I am an active member who attends church every Sunday. I was an assistant youth teacher at my church in Washington, and look forward to receiving a calling in my new church in Virginia since moving!

What do Mormons believe about the Bible? Do they regard it as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

The Bible was the first set of scriptures introduced to the world. However, it is not the last! Since the times written of in the Bible, there have been other stories that have been recorded by prophets, and presented to us as additional scriptures to learn of and get to know Heavenly Father, and his son Jesus Christ. Yes, the Bible is scripture, and the word of God, but so are The Book of Mormon, The Doctrine and Covenants, and The Pearl of Great Price! Show more Show less
