Hi I'm Tiffany.

I'm a historian, wife and mother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the wife of a Scotsman and the mother of three kids, two and under! I love history, traveling, photography, and dancing. I am passionate about learning and expanding my mind. I find motivation and strength for my own life through the study of the lives of many historical figures. I have traveled to many countries and love learning about other cultures, trying new foods, and meeting new people. Traveling has opened my eyes to the diversity in the world and the beauty it offers.

Why I am a Mormon

Understanding God's plan gives me direction in life. It provides stability for me through the ups and downs that are inevitable in this earth life. The knowledge I have because of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints gives my life purpose and depth. It helps me to see myself and others through the eyes of our Savior Jesus Christ and provides me with an understanding that surpasses my finite mind. The teachings of the Church make clear to me my purpose and show me how I can fulfill that, through Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by participating in church, home, community service. Each week at church I teach the 12 year old youth about the life and mission of Jesus Christ. I learn so much from their love of the Savior and the way they pattern their own lives after his example. They talk about the ways they can implement the teachings of the Savior in their everyday lives and in their relationships with others. I am reminded by them weekly how I can I be a better friend and example. I also live my faith in my home. I try to create an environment that is positive and inviting. I want my children to be raised understanding what it means to be a follower of Christ in our everyday lives. I enjoy volunteering in my community and strengthening programs that bring about good. While living in Idaho i was heavily involved in providing several communities with the chance to experience culture through music and dance. I believe understanding and experiencing other cultures gives us more compassion and love for all of God's children, regardless of where or how we are raised.
