Hi I'm McKay

I play Video Games, I'm from a small farm town in Payson UT, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm McKay Ash! I'm 19 years old and currently serving a mission in Billing's Montana! I have A.D.D. so I occasionally have trouble staying on task, which is probably why I spent most of highschool on YouTube! I love some of the stuff on there. You should open a new tab and look up "The Piano Guys, Moonlight" (seriosly, do it. Like, right now.) when i wasn't on YouTube odds are I was playing videogames! I spent way too much time curled up with my Wii and PS3. and WAAAAY too much time playing Minecraft! I love listening to music, alternative rock and classical are some favorites. However, most of the music on my iPod is videogame soundtracks... Like the one from Minecraft! But my favorite song has to be an instramental version of "If You Could Hie to Kolob." There's something about that song that gets to me. My favorite TV show is Top Gear, with Doctor Who and Star Trek TNG at a close second and third. My favorite movie would either have to be UP, or Goodnight and Good Luck. They're both very different in style and tone so I can't decide which I like best. I graduated high school in 2011, and my favorite class was an internship at a local newspaper. I definatlly want to try and get into some kind of online journalism when I get home. But the most unique thing about me is that I'm a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I love all of the teachings. when I read the Book of Mormon or listen to the Talks that the Apostles give it just feels right. I love learning about the history of Christ's time on the earth and about the Great Apostasy. Whenever i read the Bible or the Book of Mormon end up looking through all the footnotes and going on a giant "reference hunt."

How I live my faith

Currently, I'm living my faith by going on a Mission. Basically for the next 2 years I'm going to be teaching people about the restoration of God's church. it can be hard sometimes and i haven't been out for very long, but i already love it! I've learned so much and I love the gospel more then i can say.
