Hi I'm Ryan

I'm a husband, a proud father of a baby girl, a sports lover, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a family of seven including a very loving mom and dad. I am the youngest of five kids. I am now happily married to my beautiful wife and we have a beautiful little baby girl. I am a speech-language pathologist. Sports are my passion...always have been. I love to play and watch them especially when it has anything to do with basketball and football. When I'm not working on homework or doing something that relates to sports, I love to spend time with my wife and baby and whenever possible, be with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I follow my faith because it is what brings me closer to God. It provides me with an understanding of the purpose of my life here on earth. With the amount of chaos that bombards people each day, I feel a peace and happiness that I have a knowledge of the plan of our Heavenly Father. It would be difficult to be without that direction. Being a Mormon has given me complete assurance and understanding of where we came from, why we are here, and where we will go following our time here on earth. It is also clear how my Heavenly Father desires me to live. God makes this known through living prophets and apostles that guide this church under the direction of Jesus Christ. I feel the teachings of my faith are true. I try my best to abide by and live those teachings. They truly make me happy.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing my best to follow the teachings of a loving Heavenly Father. I go to church each Sunday, I read my scriptures everyday, I spend time with my wife, I try to find ways in which to help and visit other people that might need something, I try to be honest, and I always pray to Heavenly Father. Prayer is one of the most important actions that I do each day. I know when I pray, he listens, but not only does he listen, he answers my prayers. This seriously brings an inexplicable comfort to me, even though His answer may be different from what I want. He knows what's best for me because He knows me better than I know myself. He loves me and loves everyone of His children. Because of that love, He has given us a way back to Him. He wants us to choose the correct path that will lead back to them. This is why He sent Jesus Christ to show us the way and to then give His life for us. I know through Him I can repent of my sins and my constant mistakes so that I can return back to my Heavenly Father.
