Hi I'm Dustyn

I'm an aspiring Auto Technician. I love cars. I'm a sports enthusiast. I love my wife and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi! My name is Dustyn. I grew up in a small town in northern Arizona with 2 brothers and 4 sisters. I'm happily married to the perfect woman! We've been married almost 2 years and although they have been very trying, they've been the happiest 2 years of my life. I recently finish a technical vocational school to become an Automobile Technician. I grew up around cars all my life and love fixing cars and making people happy. I now work in a little garage and love it. I would love to one day own my own shop for car restoration and normal modern car maintenance and repair. I love playing sports! Anything from golf to football to racquetball to snowboarding to basketball and more. I love spending time with family, especially my wife. Just sitting around talking and playing games are some of my fondest memories. I love my family very much. I'm an aspiring Auto Technician. I love cars. I'm a sports enthusiast. I love my wife and I'm a Mormon!

Why I am a Mormon

Well, I grew up a Mormon from the time i was born. So you might say that it was genetic, but things like this aren't just happen stance. I got off my mission in 2006 from the Honduras, San Pedro Sula/Belize. While on my mission I had some very remarkable things happen and many miracles. One I would like to share. We were teaching a young man and he was amazing. Amazing questions, read the Book of Mormon all the time and always wanted to learn more. One day we were tracting in the area he lived and decided to stop by. When we knocked on the door his mom answered and we learned that he had epilepsy and had an attack while working and fell 2 stories on his back. Among other injuries he had lost his ability to speak. As we entered his house and sat down my companion explained what a priesthood blessing was. The young man then asked if I would give him that blessing. I was terrified! I've never prayed for help like I did in that moment. As I laid my hands on his head and gave him the blessing I could feel a literal power running through my body to this young man. His faith was incredible! It was nothing like I had ever felt before. There literally no words to describe what it was like. As I finish the blessing, I had to sit down because I was exhausted. The young man fell to his knees trying his hardest to utter a single word, and he did. As we left his how that night I heard him say, "Thank you." It was the most amazing experience of my life. I'll never forget it. And that is why I'm a Mormon. There is no other place in this world you can feel that love of the Savior than in His church. This is just on story that proves that.

How I live my faith

There are many ways to live your faith. As the scriptures say, "... I will shew you my faith by my works." Leading by example and giving service are the greatest ways. In my ward I serve in the primary, which is the organization for the children. I teach the 7 and 8 year olds. They are quite a handful but they are really fun. I also get the chance to go the teach a few families a month the lessons that we get from the Prophet each month, and I just have to say I love teaching families about the gospel. It's the best thing I can ever do. Well, that and serve them. I try to be available and serving as much as I can. There really isn't a better feeling that after that of giving service.
