Hi I'm Dianna

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Dianna and I was born and raised in Colorado. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing, and I am currently serving as a "nurse-specialist" in the Costa Rica San Jose Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. When I lived in Colorado, I enjoyed hiking and camping in the Colorado mountains, as well as spending time with my family. As a full-time missionary, I love helping others and inviting people to come unto Christ through faith in His atonement.

Why I am a Mormon

Jesus Christ is a central part of my life. I've chosen to be a member of His church because I know it is the only way I can return to live with Him and our Heavenly Father. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is led by a prophet of God. This knowledge is dear to me because I know that I will not be led astray. Just as God called prophets like Adam, Noah, and Abraham, I know that he calls prophets in our day to lead us back to God. I also know that the Book of Mormon is true. It is another testament of Jesus Christ, written by prophets of the ancient Americas. The Book of Mormon testifies that Jesus Christ is our Savior and Redeemer, and that He lives. I am a Mormon because I know the truth: God lives. His son, Jesus Christ, lives. Jesus Christ suffered for our sins and overcame death so that we can be forgiven and live again. Because of the atonement of Jesus Christ, families can be eternal. The Book of Mormon is true. I've read it and prayed about it, and the Holy Ghost has testified to me that it is a true record of Jesus Christ. I know that anyone can receive this testimony if they read the Book of Mormon and pray to know if it is true.

How I live my faith

I have the opportunity to share the gospel with people everyday as a full-time missionary. This means that I have been set-apart as a representative of Jesus Christ. I live my faith by proclaiming what I believe! I want everyone to know that the true gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored. I live my faith by keeping the commandments - by loving my Heavenly Father and loving others; by being honest and using integrity in all that I do. I love to attend church every Sunday, where we remember our Savior Jesus Christ and His atonement. At church, we have the opportunity to strengthen one another in the faith and reflect on God's plan for us. I live my faith by reading the scriptures daily and applying them to my life. Prayer is also essential, and I live my faith by praying often and trying to do what God would have me do.
