Hi I'm Iese (yes-say)

I am a singer, an athlete, a missionary, I love Jesus Christ inseparably, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

Hello to whoever you might be! My name is Iese (yes-say), and I am Mormon. I am a really fun, outgoing, and a motivating guy. And I have decent sense of humor. I am a singer(Tenor) and I love to sing in choirs, theatre productions, and solos. I am also an athlete! I ran cross country in high school as well as to this day I still pursue my hobby of road bike cycling! I love to bike for distances varying from 15 to 115 miles! CURRENTLY: I have received a mission call to serve as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Auckland New Zealand where I hope to invite others, possibly like yourself, to know the true and restored gospel of Jesus Christ. It has blessed my life UNCEASINGLY, and I gladly and willingly want to serve my Heavenly Father for the next 2 years after all he's done for me,

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and my roots in the church go back to my grandparents who immigrated from a foreign country to the US in order to get married in a Mormon temple. -But don't let that fool you! I have found my own personal conversion through much scripture study, prayer, and fasting. Being a Mormon, I have been blessed with comfort and knowledge of KNOWING where I came from, why I'm here, and where I'm going after this life. It has blessed me with unbreakable love in family unity. It has brought me closer to my Savior Jesus Christ and there are no holes of doubt in my faith whatsoever. I cannot conceal the joy that is in my life for I don't just wear my faith on my sleeve... it is branded onto my heart.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by living my life in high standards. I do not use curse words of any kind or take our Heavenly Father's name in vain. I abstain from harmful substances such as alcohol, tobacco, and so forth--we all know what those items are. I sing in church choirs year round with occasional solos. I was apart of welcoming committee and cooking food for after church functions, but have since been released after choosing to serve a mission for the church. I currently am living my faith by serving 2 years of my life as a missionary for the church in Auckland New Zealand.

Are Mormons Christians?

Iese (yes-say)
ABSOLUTELY! Christ is the center and focal point of our faith. I know that through a living prophet today that He is at the helm of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and guides His church as He sees fit. We believe that He is the son of Almighty God, He redeems us from the fall of Adam as well as saves us from our sins and that we depend significantly on His Atonement: Suffering in Gethsemane, His Crucifixion, and His resurrection. Our Sunday worship is centered and dedicated to Him, and ALL prayers are done in His name. We believe the Book of Mormon is ANOTHER Testament of Jesus Christ that goes hand in hand with The Bible, and it is the goal of each member to live Christ-like lives to the best of their ability. Are Mormons Christian? Most definitely. Show more Show less
