Hi I'm Christian Dahneke

Currently serving a full time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Santiago, Chile. Christ is my friend.

About Me

I am 18 years old and a current LDS missionary. I love being one of his called servants and I have the grand opportunity to see His work progress in front of my eyes. I love to testify of my Savior and the difference that He has made in my life. Without Him, I would not be out here on this mission. He is my Strength, my Light, and my Life. And through Him and priesthood power, I can be with my family after this life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the peace and happiness that I feel in my everyday life comes from this Gospel. I grew up in the church and since I've been a teenager, I have challenged myself to embrace it because I don't know what I would do without knowing what I know. This gospel has changed my life and helped me look for the better things in life and when times are hard, I ALWAYS have someone to go to. I love reading the Book of Mormon and i know that it is true because I have studied it and I know that Joseph Smith DID see Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ in the Sacred Grove and that His true church has been restored on this Earth today. I know that my Savior lives and that families can be forever.

How I live my faith

I live my faith as a missionary every day. I wake up every morning and have the privilege to read from His words. I get to teach my brothers and sisters about their great brother and what He has done for us. It is such a great blessing to live with this knowledge.

What is being a Mormon like?

Christian Dahneke
Our purpose on this earth to have joy (2 Nephi 2:25). Praying, Studying scriptures, and attending church helps us to understand that the best way to find joy and happiness in this life is to know about our Heavenly Father's plan of Happiness. We live normal lives, go to church on Sundays, however we live to a higher standard than others. We believe in keeping our language clean, not partaking in smoking of any kind, or alcohol of any kind. We also believe that miracles still happen on this Earth today. In our religion, families are essential in Heavenly Father's plan, and how we live focuses mainly on families. Show more Show less
