Hi I'm K.C.

I was born in Twin Falls Idaho. I am happily married and love my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am very outgoing and love a good completion. I grew up playing every sport you can think of, anything from backpacking and rock climbing to football and basketball. I grew up in a large family consisting of 5 wonderful sisters and me, the only boy. In high school my senior year I had the joy and pain of playing in two state championships, one for football and again for basketball. Unfortunately we lost both games. Taking the pain of this it has taught me to be a better person. During high school I became close with two real good friends and we became known as "The Tri-Pod". We did everything together, camping, road trips, hunting, and fishing, literally everything. Soon it came time for the oldest to leave on his mission for our church. Since then the remaining two of us have left and returned. I am now a newlywed and enjoying the company of a beautiful wife. We are both working and going to school and at the same time trying to manage our budget. I love everything about my life even though it can be a struggle.

Why I am a Mormon

Being born in the church I was surrounded by faithful parents and grandparents. Also many of my friends shared my beliefs. As I became older I began to wander from my faith. I still continued to go to church most Sundays but my heart was never in it. The constant peer pressure from my friends at school often made me stretch my comfort zone. But having such close friends in "The Tri-Pod" we managed to avoid any major trouble. When my friends began to leave on missions it really made me stop and look where my decisions were taking me. When it came time for me to go on a mission I was ready. I faithfully served a two year mission for my church. My mission confirmed to me the simple truths that were taught to me since I was a young boy. I realized that I already had a testimony of Jesus Christ and his sacrifice for us. I know that God is our Father and He loves us. We have the opportunity to learn of His love as we read the scriptures and pray to know of their truthfulness. I know the Book of Mormon is scripture that goes hand and hand with the Bible to increase our knowledge of our Heavenly Father's love. I am grateful for this knowledge for it has changed my life.

How I live my faith

Even though my fulltime mission has come to an end I continue to share the gospel with family and friends. My wife and I prepare ourselves in every way to one day raise children in a righteous manner. We practice now by visiting members of our church and sharing our testimonies. I strive everyday to live as the Savior and treat everyone with respect, supporting them in their trials.
