Hi I'm Annette & I'm a Mormon

I am an artist, a book "hoarder" and the best friend you will ever have. I am a "yellow" color personality!

About Me

People (my adult art students, parents, neighbors & friends) know that I am a Mormon & know that I will love them, accept them & be their friend no matter what. I enjoy bringing people together. I started a 'Ladies Night Out' dinner group that has been going every month for 15 years. I started an Art Society of all mediums that brings art & friendship together. I plan twice yearly 'Women's Retreats'. I plan game nights, lunches & parties. None of these are associated with the church. I see needs to be met & try to fill those needs as most of these ladies are single, widowed, divorced or elderly. One of my gifts is that I can be a good friend to women and children of all ages, cultures and mental capabilities.I want to help fill their loneliness. Most do not have an "instant family" like the Relief Society sisterhood that I have had moving from state to state to associate with. I want them to know that I am their sister.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into an LDS home & am so grateful for the foundation of faith & good example of my parents who lived the principles of service & doctrine. But everyone has to be converted individually & find out for themselves if it is true. It was a High School Seminary teacher who; in a quiet way, guided me to that sure knowledge. His testimony and love for me personally changed the direction of my teenage life. He was what I would perceive Christ himself would be like, and I KNOW that The Lord put him into my young life as one of His servant's to guide me in the direction I should go. In life we have "defining moments", but we also have "defining people" that come into our life path. He was one of those people that helped me become "truly converted".

How I live my faith

Accountability is an extremely important trait to me. To say I will do or be something and follow through. I want my art parents to know they can TOTALLY trust their child with me. I will stop any language or conversation that is not uplifting. When we play videos and music they will be clean. I will hug & praise & love them and most of all---they will have fun & create & do what we both love together: Art! I have tried to emplify this feeling in my art studio and at home and with all the other "balls" I juggle in my life. To be dependable and unchangeable is a trait I value & that includes living values of the Gospel of Jesus Christ every day.
