Hi I'm Mike

I'm a Mormon. I have a beautiful wife and 4 wonderful children. I work in transportation and I love my Savior, Jesus Christ.

About Me

I am a huge sci-fi nut and I love movies. I enjoy spending my time in nature, escpecially on hikes with my family. I love to sit down with a good book and stretch out and watch a movie. I am fun loving and enjoy being silly. I love to be of service and get the greatest feeling at the end of the day when I can bring a smile to someones face.

Why I am a Mormon

I became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints after I was married. My wife is a member of the Church so it was not unusual for the Missionaries to be in our home. One day the Missionaries stopped by and asked me if I had ever read the Book of Mormon. I of couse said that I was not interested and that I had the Bible if I wanted to read about Christ. I allowed them to come back several times because I enjoyed the discussions and learning more about the Mormon faith. It wasn't until I was asked to make a commitment to read the Book of Mormon and to pray about it that I was given the revelation that this is the true Church of Christ and the the Book of Mormon is another testiment of Jesus Christ. I have always known that God would not have made such a vast universe and onlu put us in it. There had to be something more. Now I know, through the teachings of the Church and through reading the book of Mormon that I know without a doubt we are not alone. We have a loving Heavenly Father and he has a plan for each and every one of use. I can honestly say that the greatest choice I ever made in my life was taking the challenge given to me by the missionaries and praying about the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon. It has changed my lif and can do that same for anyone who has the courage to act.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being true to the covenants that I have made with my Heavenly Father. I am not prefect but I try every day to be like Christ. If someone is in need, I help. I don't ask for anything in return I just do it because it is what Christ would do. There is no better feeling than to be of service. The smile on someones face when you perform an act of service is all that matters.
