Hi I'm Josh

Sneakerhead, lifelong student, food fanatic, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

One of my biggest hobbies is that I absolutely love sneakers. I can talk about any kind of shoe for days. It's something that I have been able to share with my friends and also everyone that I meet. I feel like shoes always have a story to tell. I am a food addict! I could eat any kind of food all day long if I could. But most importantly I love sports. All sports of every kind. If I don't know anything about that sport I would love for someone to teach me the rules and more importantly how to play! I am currently serving a full time mission in the Florida Tallahassee Mission and I am loving every minute of it!

Why I am a Mormon

The way that I am able to live my life because of my faith is truly fulfilling. I'm a Mormon because of living a life that allows me to follow closely as I can in my Savior's footsteps. Knowing that I may not get as close as others, but knowing that I have a loving Savior who is helping me each and everyday to continually progress is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing whatever is asked of me through the prophet and other priesthood leaders. I am a full time missionary for two years. In that calling I have been asked to invite others to come unto Christ by helping them receive the restored gospel. One of the greatest ways that I have been able to show my faith is through living it each and every day... Not just on Sunday's. One of the greatest scriptures (in my opinion) is when Christ tells His newly found apostles to "Come and follow me." (Matthew 19:21)

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

To increase our faith is like working out a muscle. You have to start small and then continually work at it until you are able to increase your weight. Similar to that, with our faith, you have to do small things. Such as saying simple, heartfelt prayers diligently. Over time you will be able to see that your prayers will grow more and continue to become better and better over time. Another thing that will help would be to read from the scriptures. Reading from the scriptures has helped me to find all the answers that I would need. I'm grateful to know that the Lord loves us enough to speak to us through the scriptures. Show more Show less

How can I know Mormonism is true?

One of the greatest things that I personally have learned, is that when in doubt, take it to the Lord. I myself have come to know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the true church on the earth is because I have prayed to find out for MYSELF. Don't take my word or anyone else's word until you personally have asked through humble and sincere prayer. I know that the Lord will answer your question, just like He did for me. Show more Show less
