I'm 74, retired from the US Navy,I'm a Christian, Father, grandfather, great-grandfather to 10 and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a retired Navy pilot, a former University teacher, a long time salesman, a father of 7, grandfather to 26, and so far, great-grandfather to 10. I like to travel, to read, and to play tennis and sail. I enjoy being outdoors, going to the beach, and seeing new places. I like sharing my beliefs on many subjects, especially religion.

Why I am a Mormon

I've been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints all my life, but have come to know the gospel is true by study and prayer. Reading the scriptures often has helped me know that Jesus is my Savior, and to follow His teachings. The Book of Mormon has been especially helpful in this regard. because everything in there reinforces the Bible. Listening to the words of the living prophets and apostles has also given me direction in my life.

How I live my faith

I attend church regularly, give of my time there, by doing service to others when I see the opportunity. I also volunteer in my community, presently serving of the homeowners association board. My wife and I have served as missionaries in Ghana, W. Africa (for 18 months), served the Marines at Parris Island, for a year, and served the soldiers at Ft. Sam Houston for 18 months. We volunteered at Brook Army Medical Center for a year, helping the family members of surgery patients.
