Hi I'm Dave

I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints~ the Mormons. I'm an Air Force brat and an Air Force veteran.

About Me

I was introduced to the Church in High School, fell away while in College, and discovered Jesus' love for me and the truthfulness of the gospel through the gentle love and support of my "extended family". To this day I am grateful for their patience and sincere love and example. I have tried to emulate that in my life and the life of my family--beautiful wife, 2 daughters and 3 sons. I have had a career in the Air Force and continue to support the military in my current employment. My calling in the military is a cherished "memory" one of joy and strive--but I know what I did was special and am grateful for the opportunity. The same--but more earnest--is my feeling about my love and gratitude to my Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ. I know that my life has been so much more worhtwhile because of my understanding of the gospel, the purpose of my life and realization that He loves me. I want to do His will, be an example of His love, be an instrument in His hands for whatever He has for me to do. There are times when I feel low or distracted. But my memory of His love and recollection of all He has done for me continues to guide me to those sacred words "well done thou good and faithful servant".

Why I am a Mormon

This life choice helps me to be a better person and disciple of Jesus.

How I live my faith

One day at a time; ever grateful for the next breath, ever excited for the next day.
