Hi I'm Ben

I grew up in rural upstate New York. I am studying to become a Physical Therapist. I'm also a Mormon.

About Me

Currently I am a student. I have tried to learn lots of good skills while in my studies, things that I can use later in life. I worked at a quick-lube changing oil, I have been a waiter, and worked as an assistant carpenter. I decided to learn German and ended up spending about 5 months in Berlin studying there. I have 8 siblings and two great parents. We are scattered across the country now that we are older.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that Christ lives, and I know that this is His Church. I discover that a little more each day as I strive to follow Him and His teachings. I love to read the Bible and the book of Mormon, especially when I have questions that I need to find answers to. Life is far too difficult to do alone, and I know that without Christ and this Gospel that He sends through His prophet, I would be without hope in this life. I know that when I pray, He is listening.

How I live my faith

In my current ward, I serve as a coordinator of some of the activities that we do. I oversee the execution of these activities and most importantly, I am there in the event that anyone helping in the carrying-out of such events needs help or advice. I also am assigned to visit certain members of the ward to insure that they are doing well in their lives, spiritually, temporally, socially, financially, and in all aspects of life. This is how we watch out for one another.
