Hi I'm Rennie

I was in the military, spent most of my time in the far east, I love food, sports, listening to Coast to Coast and being a Mormon.

About Me

I am a disabled Veteren. I love to watch documentaries, I really enjoy sci-fi and UFO's and all that kind of stuff. I really enjoy listening to Coast to Coast on the radio, it's very entertaining especially all the different subjects that they talk about. I love to watch any sport that I can, if its on tv I will watch it. I like to learn how to cook and then eat what I cook. I love pastries, cakes, pies, ice cream, and doughnuts. I wrote a little bit when I was younger, I used to write poems but not since the 60's.

Why I am a Mormon

I became a Mormon because I felt it was time to come in out of the rain, you when it rains it pours. I was tired of being used, abused and accussed. I first met the missionaries in summer 2010, they just knocked on my door and I let them in. They listened to me as I rehearsed my story and they told me there was a way that I could have my burden lifted from my shoulders. It took awhile for me to begin to understand the entire message and I still have lots to learn. As the missionaries were teaching me, I was moved upon by the Spirit of the Lord that it was time for me to forgive and forget. I felt the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon manifested by peace and love as I read it. Then I accepted the invitation to be Baptized.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing what I can, where I can. I sometimes can't do as much as I would like but I do my best with what I've got. I follow the words in the Bible and do unto others as I would have done unto me. I attend my regular sunday meetings and sustain the leaders in my congregation.
