Hi I'm TJ Brady

I speak fluent Spanish. I longboard, cook, and sing. I'm dedicated to service. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've lived in Arizona all my life. I like to dabble in different passtimes, like cooking Mexican and Italian food, learning instruments, and singing. Loudly. I'm now a Spanish-speaking missionary in North Carolina. What I want most for the future is to have a family that's close to God.

Why I am a Mormon

I've grown up in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and was baptized when I was 8-years-old. I've never doubted that the Church was founded by Jesus Christ, and is His church today. I've felt a responsibility to share what I know, what makes me the happiest, with others. I've learned as a missionary that God will only give us as much as we'll let Him; and if we let Him, He'll give us everything He has. At times when I seen clearly between the choice to accept and the choice to reject His blessings, I remember the words of Peter in the New Testament, after being ask by Jesus, "Will ye also go away?" Peter answers, "Lord, to whom shall we go? Thou hast the words of eternal life." I'm a Mormon because I believe in God's promises. They are found in the doctrine of the Chruch of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, the church Christ founded, and I know they are true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by making sure to remember the hand of God in my life, when I'm learning new things. longboarding, going to school, working, and doing whatever we're doing with family and friends. I study the scriptures every day, and keep the Sabbath Day holy by forgetting about the rest of life for a day to focus on the Lord. As a missionary I live my faith by talking with everyone about the gospel...especially those who just speak Spanish :) I find time to teach others I'm around, and learn the lessons they'll teach me. I live my faith by serving others every moment I can for this two-year mission.

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

TJ Brady
The full blessings of the gospel of Jesus Christ are not intended only for members of any one church. Our Heavenly Father wants all of His children to her the "good news"--that through Jesus Christ we can live happily now and have the promise of eternal life after death. In the Bible are numerous prophesies that the Lord would gather His people from all over the earth. That means that He sends missionaries to all countries, looking for all those who will accept His gospel message, including the contributions of prophets and apostles of our day, and scriptures that have come forth in our time. Those from all over the world will be blessed beyond measure as they find out and live by what God is teaching us in these days, in addition to what we know from the past--but they won't find out without His help.
