Hi I'm Sevell

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a dad happily married in the temple for 27 years with 4 children. I enjoy spending time with my family. I like snowmobiling, snow skiing, water skiing, and hiking.

Why I am a Mormon

As a child, I had to know if the gospel was true. So, I decided to read the Old Testament, the New Testament, the Doctrine and Covenants, the Pearl of Great Price and the Book of Mormon and pray to find out for myself if it was true. It took me a long time to read all of the scriptures, but I received a deeper understanding of the gospel of Jesus Christ. When I went on my mission to New Mexico and El Paso Texas, as I memorized over 1500 scriptures, my understanding deepended. Later, I was married in the temple, and my testimony grew stronger. The temple and the family are the basis of my testimony and am truly grateful to be sealed to my family for time and all eternity in the holy temple of God.

How I live my faith

I was an assistant girl scout leader. I led 7 young men scouting groups including training and supporting their leaders. I enjoyed community relations projects in Viet Nam, Singapore, Cambodia, South Korea, and Japan working with children and adults I cannot always speak with, but we can always understand each other through mutual love. I feel a deep friendship and common bond with others who have a strong belief in God, regardless of religion. Our struggle for freedom and the light of Jesus Christ our Savior is worldwide.
