Hi I'm Jenni

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in California.

About Me

I am the mother of five children. I love to cook and eat good food. I love to camp and fish with my family. I used to love to craft and sew, hopefully when my children grow up I'll get to do both more often. I like to volunteer at the schools, in my community, and at church. I work a couple of part-time seasonal jobs.

Why I am a Mormon

It brings me joy. I grew up in a Catholic Family. I went to a private Baptist school, and loved to sing in the chapel meetings. I studied the scriptures and found a great love for them. As a teenager I taught a mid-week CCD class, was in a youth group, and attended mass with my family. I always felt a great love for God, and found serving him brought me great happiness. I will admit that I prayed to Him and always wished that I could know Him better. My senior year in high school that prayer was answered. I found the answers and joined the church that had them.

How I live my faith

I live my life with much prayer and thanksgiving. I encourage my children to attend church, make good choices, pray often, and search the scriptures. I try to lead by example as I support my husband in his calling as a Bishop and while serving as a volunteer at the Oquirrh Mountain Temple. This life is not always easy, but we share that as a family. We work hard, play often and keep the faith always. I do good unto others. I repent when necessary. I follow the teachings of our modern day Prophet Thomas S. Monson. Most importantly I try to follow the examples of our Savior and Redeemer Jesus Christ. I know that through him all things are possible. I have been very blessed.
