Hi I'm B-Wasa

OILELEI o au na KAIVITI... Really proud to be a Fijian..LOVE IT! LOVE IT! and yes! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am #3 and love being around my family coz they're AWESOME and they mean so much to me. Volleyball is what I am obsessed with..true man! Chinese food..yum!..yup that's the boring me!!..I LOVE MY LIFE! Oh yeah! I was baptized into the Church following the tireless efforts of 5 sets of missionaries and the great examples of the family I stayed with for 11 years. But that was not all, my siblings became members before I did except my parents. During the course of my study with missionaries, they invited me to be baptised. Knowing that I couldn't make this decision I let my mom did it for me. Of course the answer was "NO". But then I realized that I have to decide for myself because this is my own salvation. Days, weeks, months and years went by I never had a testimony of this gospel. I relied on others testimony. I was living on borrowed lights and I never even tried to find out for myself if this is where I should be. I did all I could but really I still have no DESIRE to gain a testimony of this gospel. I have seen and heard people gained and shared their testimonies of this gospel. I started asking: "How did they get that?" I finally decided to read from the Book of Mormon and prayed about it and I got my witness of its truthfulness. I never was visited by Heavenly beings or angels telling me that its true, the confirmation came as a peaceful, warm feeling to my heart, body and soul. I know withal my heart without a shadow of a doubt that this is Christ's church, so TRUE!

Why I am a Mormon

Being a Mormon was a hard decision to make. It takes alot of sacrifices. I am glad and really grateful for the choices I made to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, a church that is called in His name and has the fulness of the Gospel. Being a Mormon has made me realize how important the gospel is to me and my family and others. Through the gospel and its teachings i have come to understand more fully the great plan of happiness prepared by our Father in Heaven for us, and ways to obediently follow that plan. This is a gospel of learning and I am still learning, I am not perfect! But through the Atonement of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, I know that there's a way back to our Father in Heaven. So many people said that its hard to be a Mormon..really? Yes it is, the right way is in this Church. Going back to our Father in Heaven is not easy, it takes lots and lots of steps, lots and lots of WORK, lots and lots of FAITH, OBEDIENCE, DILIGENCE, PATIENCE, and so on and so on. I love being a Mormon!

How I live my faith

Just the simple basics- praying and reading from the scriptures daily and applying the teachings of the gospel into my life. At times reading a whole chapter from the scriptures is too much but i make it a goal to read from them even if its a couple of verses and try to grasp whatever gospel principles I could learn from it. I also try my very best not only to teach the gosple but to live it as well, to be an example in word, in deed and in conversation. I am also serving a full time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Why do Mormons believe in the Bible?

B-Wasa
We belive in the Bible because it is the word of God and testifies of Jesus whom we know to be the Savior and Redeemer of the world. We use the Bible together with the Book of Mormon. (1 Nephi 13:40) These two sets of scriptures go hand in hand. Show more Show less
