Hi I'm Corinne

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love kids. I am a sixth grade school teacher at an intercity charter school. I'm also an artist. I have an art business, and I love doing my art. I do custom art for people (paintings and drawings). I love to sing, be around people and enjoy life. I have a wonderful family. My parents and eight brothers and sisters are my best friends. I don't live with any of them but love to go visit them.

Why I am a Mormon

There is nothing in my life that makes me more happy than to know that I am a daughter of God and that he loves me personally. There is so much strength and comfort that comes with understanding God's plan for all of us and my place in it. I have been given so many blessings and I know that I will always be in dept to my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. The only way I can show my gratitude to Them is to be obedient to Their laws, love my fellow men and live a life that would be pleasing to Them. When I do this They bless me all the more. I'm am grateful for the standards I live and know that the pure happiness it brings is because I am following what the Lord has asked me to do. I know that families are the most precious blessing and that we should cherish them always. Why would the Lord bless us with something that has the potential to be so wonderful and then take it from us when we die. He doesn't. Families really can continue after this life. I am so grateful that if my family and I live the kind of lives the Lord has required us to live we can be an eternal unit, never to be separated. The Lord intends for us to be happy, and he knows how we can be the happiest! All we need to do is follow Him.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being happy to stand up for what I know to be right; no matter the situation I am in. I love people and enjoy sharing the things that have made me the happiest. In my ward, I help young single adults prepare to go to the temple. The temple is the most sacred place for members of the church. It is where we feel closest to God. I went to the temple for the first time about 1 1/2 years ago. Since then I have returned every week. I love the temple and am so grateful for the peace and strength it has brought to my life. I am a better person because of it. I get to be one that helps prepare others to go to the temple. I love this! I try to live in a way that others may be inspired to be a little better.
