Hi I'm Karen Weatherston

Grew up in California. Living in Idaho. College Graduate. Wife to Casey and Mother to Rylee.

About Me

I was born and raised in beautiful Southern California, then I fell in love with an Idaho boy and my life has been forever changed. I am a lucky and blessed woman, and I have so much to be thankful for. I am married to the love of my life, and my best friend. Casey has been everything I could want and more. He is my best friend, my biggest support, the best husband and the best father. We were both recently blessed to have our daughter, Rylee, in our lives. She is 3 months old and she is the light of my world. Both my husband and I graduated from BYU-Idaho, where we met 2 weeks after I returned from my mission in the mountains of Peru. I love life, I love my family, and most importantly I love Heavenly Father and His son, Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, because I know that I have a Father in Heaven who loves me and knows me better than any other person. He loved me enough to allow his only begotten son to come to this earth to die for me. No matter what trial I may have to face here on earth I know that I can over come it, because I have faith in my Heavenly Father and the plan he has for me. My mission in life is to help other people come to know of their divine heritage, that they are all beloved sons and daughters of a Heavenly King who loves them. That he is constantly mindful of our lives, and our trials. That knowledge is something that no one can ever take from us, it brings a reassurance and happiness into our lives that cannot be duplicated any other way. If I have helped at least one person come to know of their importance than I have succeeded. "God does notice us, and he watches over us. But it is usually through another person that he meets our needs. Therefore, it is vital that we serve each other."-Spencer W. Kimball

How I live my faith

I live my faith through the way I choose to live my life. I try my best to be a representative of my Savior here on earth. In everything I do I want to leave an impression on people. I am entering into a new chapter in my life as a mother, and a new mother. Everything I do, I do for my husband and our little girl. I often find myself left confused, not knowing what to do with certain decisions placed before me. My greatest desires in life are to be a good wife, and a good mother. I want to serve and love my husband always, just as he serves and loves me. I want to show my daughter how to love herself, and others. And most importantly, how to model her life after our Savior, Jesus Christ. And when the time comes for her to marry to know what to look for in a worthy eternal companion. To achieve these goals, I always know how to turn to for help: Heavenly Father, and Jesus Christ. There are many things in life that are not guaranteed, but the one thing I do know for sure is that Christ lives. I know that if I hold true to that truth, then my life and the lives of my loved ones will always be ok; no matter the circumstances. In the end, we will always be together and happy.
