Hi I'm Megan

I'm a teacher. I'm a musician. I'm a wife. I'm a mother of a two boys. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have the best full time jobs in the world. During the day I am an elementary music teacher. Everywhere in between I am the mother of two young boys and wife to my best friend. Life is busy, messy, and challenging, but also wonderful and rewarding all at the same time.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church. As I learned things at church and at home, it always made perfect sense to me. I loved going to church to be with my friends, and I even enjoyed the studying of scriptures bright and early in seminary. As I got older, I realized that even though I knew a lot about the church and it's teachings, I had never taken the challenge to read the Book of Mormon all the way through. This wasn't until my freshman year of college. As I read the account of Christ visiting the Americas in 3rd Nephi, I knew without a doubt that this was precious truth revealed from God. I made it a point to attend institute every semester. Sometimes it was harder than others, but I always felt the peace I needed to fill my spiritual hunger. As I dedicate myself to aligning my life with Christ, my soul is filled with peace and comfort. My days may or may not literally be easier, but I am strengthened with the tools I need to face the challenges of everyday life.

How I live my faith

Everyday I do my best to live the example that I want to set for my children. I am not perfect, and have many shortcomings, but I strive to do what is right.
