Hi I'm Kel and I am Lin

I'm a Mormon. I work at a nuclear facility in Idaho. Lin work's in a credit union. We are Mormon's.

About Me

We have been married for 34 years. We have one daughter, three sons, and 4 grandchildren. We love to camp, motorcylce ride on the dirt and also touring on the highway. We have traveled from New York to Hawaii, and from Mexico to Canada. Our favorite place always seems to be at home!

Why I am a Mormon

We were both born into Mormon families. We are each descendents of Mormon pioneers who literally walked across a big portion of our country to the western frontier. Some of them sacrificed very much to migrate from England to America, their lives included. Although we have great ancestors, we had to find out for ourselves our own testimonies of why we believe what we believe. We have gained our testimonies by prayer and study of the scriptures.

How I live my faith

It is one thing to be a member of a church and go to church on Sunday, but to truly live your faith requires a commitment to live your religion each day of the week. Those commitment's that we do are everything from living the health code of our religion to supporting the leadership and in spreading the gospel to those who are not members. We feel that example is a very powerful thing and if we will set the right example we can help others experience the happiness that we experience. We have done activities with the youth, we have gone with missionaries to teach lessons, we visit monthly certain families that have been assigned to us by our leaders to check on them and see if they need help, and then we leave a spiritual message. We work in geneology and organizing our family historys. We donate to charitable causes through the church to those in need, and also to humanitarian causes throughout the world. We further donate to the church to the building program to help build temples around the world so that others can enjoy the blessings of the temple that we enjoy. We have taught classes and given talks and participate in cultural events such as choirs and performances. Therefore, we support our church every day of the week.

What do Mormons believe about Jesus Christ? Do Mormons believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God?

Kel and I am Lin
Jesus is our older Brother. He created the earth. He loves us so much that he gave His life to save us from our sins. He loves us so much that he made it possible for us to live again after death. He cares for us and helps us when we need Him the most. His father is Heavenly Father, or God. Heavenly Father is also our Father and we can pray to Him in the name of Jesus Christ. With sincere faith and a humble heart we can feel our Heavenly Father and Jesus guide us and help us our whole lives. When times are hard He is still watching over us even when we don't think He might be there. Our life on earth sometimes feels like just a few moments, while looking back on how fast time flys. We should try to make those few moments as good as we can in honor of all the blessings that we have been given in return. Just the thought of the beauty of our earth, a sunrise or a sunset any day of the year is just one example of the many blessings that we have been given, because Jesus loves us so much.
