Hi I'm Merekaraka

I'm a Mormon. I was born in New Zealand but have lived in Australia for over 50 years.

About Me

I am an Ambassador for Peace and speak at World Peace Conferences worldwide and was nominated as the Woman for World Peace for the Oceania Region in 2008. My life is full of doing humanitarian works in poor nations, and I am the founder of a charitable non profit organisation that is preparing to construct orphanages in third world nations for little children who have been abused and neglected. My Volunteers and self are prepared to go into the depth of the world that we might make a difference, and serve the poorest of the poor. Land has been gifted for our Orphanages in Thailand, Pakistan, Nepal, Cameroon, Ghana and Kenya with support from local leaders in these nations.

Why I am a Mormon

My conversion story is simple, I believe that Jesus Chist heals our souls, dries our tears and creates in each of us a pure heart. I also know through prayer that I may find shelter in the shadows of his outstretched arms and that he will be merciful and forgiving concerning my weaknesses and incline his ear to my cries. The Book of Mormon is the keystone of our religion, the keystone of our testimony, the keystone of our doctrine and the keystone in the witness of our Lord and Saviour. The Book of Mormon provides me the genealogy of my Ancestors and the truth of their migration from Israel to the narrow neck of land between North and South America and then onto the pacific isles. I will continue to serve the Lord with his little children in third world nations, to save one child will make a difference for generations to come.

How I live my faith

I live my Faith by being a good citizen in the community, share my love with my neighbours and be there for whoever needs help and support.
