Hi I'm John

I'm a husband, a father, a lawyer, a fly fisherman, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a partner in my law firm where I practice business and corporate law. I like to read and I have a large collection of books. I like going hiking, camping and fishing with my children.

Why I am a Mormon

Over the course of my life, I have come to know through many experiences that God is my Father in Heaven and that He knows and loves me. I have also come to know that He has a plan of happiness for His children. I have tried diligently to follow that plan, which is taught in its fulness by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The centerpiece of that plan and the means by which I can return to live with my Heavenly Father, is the Savior, Jesus Christ. My faith in God and His plan has been rewarded with blessings of peace and happiness, as I live, work and raise my family in a very tumultuous world. I have come to know that as I continue to work to do my best and live my life according to the standards that God has set, that he will bless me with a lasting happiness and joy that I can enjoy with my wife and children.

How I live my faith

I try to set a good example for my friends and family. I'm trying to be a little bit better every day. I work to praise others who I see doing good things in their lives, families and communities. I help the missionaries from our church share messages with individuals in my community who would like to know more about our faith, and how they can come to know the happiness I have found.
