Hi I'm Florian

Hi! I'm Swiss, I'm a landscaper and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Switzerland but I have always lived in France, right next to my home country. I studied the landscaping for 3 years and I graduated in this field. I'm engaged. I love going to movies, and spending time with my friends and family.

Why I am a Mormon

I've been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for 5 years and my family are not members, I am the only one. I knew the church through a friend who was a member of the Church. At the beginning I did not want to know about this church because I was not someone who was raised in religion. For me, religion was a waste of time and I didn't need this in my life. I did not need anything, I thought I had everything I wanted in my life to be happy. But I was wrong. Family for me is something very important and when I knew I could live forever with them, thanks to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, my heart changed. I started reading the Book of Mormon and follow the teachings of the missionaries. I felt that these things were true and I wanted to be baptized. But soon I realized that my family and friends objected to me joining the Church. But with the support of my Heavenly Father, I could find the strength and courage necessary to go through this ordeal. I had to wait a year before I got baptized because as I was 17 at that time, I did not have permission from my parents for my baptism. I can testify that since I've been a member of the Church, it has changed my life. It's been 5 years since my baptism, and at no moment have I regretted my choice. I know real happiness now. It does not mean that I have not had any trials in my life since I've been a member, but thanks to God's plan, I now know why we have trials in our lives. Knowing this gives me hope and I know God will always be with me in difficult times. The Book of Mormon has changed my life too. In reading it, I felt that this book contained the words of God, I knew that Joseph Smith was a prophet and that the Church is true.

How I live my faith

I had a lot of callings with the Church as teacher and full-time missionary for two years. But the most important thing for me is to be an example to people around me, living my principles, and give service to others.
