Hi I'm Daniel

I live in the Midwest, served as a missionary in the Nevada Las Vegas West mission, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was a Spanish speaking missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Las Vegas Nevada West Mission. I'm in ROTC and studying engineering. I love lacrosse, tennis, racquetball, football, and hockey (I go to school in Michigan).

Why I am a Mormon

I've gone to church with my mom and sister for as long as I can remember. I loved going to primary, and seeing my teachers each week. I loved primary so much, I thought my dad and friends who weren't members should come with me. I was baptized when I was eight (which I promptly point out if asked if I was born a Mormon) by my grandfather, and I've been a member ever since! I moved to the Midwest in middle school, and was glad that I knew that church would be the same. I've had my struggles, trials, etc., but the restored gospel of Jesus Christ has always been there for me. A prophet in the Book of Mormon wrote that a good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, and I know that everything I have learned from primary until now has been good and true. For a long time I followed the example of my family members and teachers that I knew to be valiant people, and over time I gained my own witness/testimony that we do have a Heavenly Father, and He loves us. He is merciful, loving, kind, all knowing, and has a plan for his children to live with Him again. He sent His Son to atone for our sins, pains, and sickness. He called Joseph Smith as a prophet to restore the gospel in it's entirety. Like I said, I have my struggles as I learn and grow, and for that I am glad that the gospel has been restored....so we can see things as they really are, and be comforted.

How I live my faith

Even though my two years as a full-time missionary in the best mission ever is complete, I'm still a missionary. I coordinate with the full-time missionaries in my area, and help share the restored gospel of Jesus Christ.
