Hi I'm Taylor Ward

I am currently a Missionary in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, in the Tennessee Knoxville Mission.

About Me

I was born and raised in the United States, in the state of Utah. I have many interests and hobbies. I love spending my time in the outdoors. I love doing any type of outdoor activity. I am mostly interested in sciences. Particularly earth-related sciences such as earthquakes, volcanoes, rocks, minerals, etc; as well as physical sciences such as, chemistry, physics, etc. I have worked many of my summers in Yellowstone National Park. This has been an amazing experience! As of now, I am serving a full-time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in East Tennessee.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. However, I have not always believed it to be true. There have been several times in my life when I seriously questioned the beliefs I was taught. I wanted to search for answers to my questions. I wanted to know if this church, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, was true, and if it was the Church God wanted me to join. I did a lot of serious study of many religions, scripture and doctrines. I came to know without any doubts that this is the true church on the Earth. How did I come to know this, you may ask; through many hours of study and mostly prayer. God, our Heavenly Father made it known in my mind and in my heart, by the power of the Holy Ghost, or also known as the Spirit. The scriptures clearly state that God will give us the answers to our questions through the Spirit, if we are willing to search for ourselves, if we are willing to accept the answer he gives us, and if we will then act on His answer. I know that this is the only true church on the Earth today. I know that it was in fact set up and organized by our Savior, Jesus Christ. The Church is supported upon the "foundation of prophets and apostles, Jesus Christ, himself as the chief cornerstone" as it says in the Bible. I know that there is a Prophet of God here on the Earth today. He is here to help guide us in these latter-days. He communicates with Heavenly Father daily in our behalf. He loves us, just as Heavenly Father, and Jesus Christ do. I know that we are on this Earth at this time to become better and to learn and grow. We are of noble birth, our Father is the King of the Universe, even the Most High God. I know that we can live with him again, as well as with our families for eternity. We can do this only in and through Jesus Christ, and by his kingdom on the earth, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I know I am not perfect. I make mistakes each day, as do we all. However, even though we make mistakes in this life that we later regret, our Savior has made a way possible for us to be forgiven. We learn from the consequences of our mistakes and sins, and that gives me the desire to not make those same mistakes twice. Every day I try to become better than I was yesterday. It is a continual process. I stand up for what I know to be true, and right. I try to help others as Christ did. And this is why I am willing to share with others my personal testimony; that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the Lord's Kingdom on the earth, that Joseph Smith was a living modern-day prophet of God, and that the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is for everyone. I know that this church can bless your life. There is no other way to receive the most happiness in this life, other than through His gospel. I know this to be true by the witnesses that have been given to me directly from God.
