Hi I'm Scott

I'm a college student, a new husband, and guess what? I'm a Mormon!

About Me

Hi everybody! I'm Scott, the baby of five kids from two wonderful parents. I'm very thankful for my siblings, because they've taught me almost everything I know. Because of their examples I graduated from Seminary, High School, and am now attending college. Also, thanks to their help, I was able to serve a full-time honorable mission in Santa Cruz, Bolivia! My mission taught me that service is essential to existence in this world. I love it so much that part of my career will be centered in service towards others. I am a health enthusiast and am currently studying health and fitness in college. I am a new husband, and as such I have learned more about love than ever before. She loves me and makes me feel so important. She Trusts and believes in me. It's such a wonderful feeling. That's what the world needs: someone to believe in them. We all have challenges in life and sometimes we need somebody to push us back into fighting position to take them on. I'll fight with you!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because the Gospel of Jesus Christ teaches us to be strong amidst trial. It has taught me that there is always a light at the end of the tunnel. If I don't see it I need to look for it. The gospel of Jesus Christ teaches us that we are of the race of deity and as such we can call upon the strength of God to help us through the hard times. It gives us something to live for, a goal, something to aspire to be. That desire, that faith, gives us the will to act and to become better. I am a Mormon because it gives me the step up that I need.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being an example to others. Being that steadfast anchor in the troubling waters to show everyone that life isn't as bad as it seems. I live my faith by recognizing my weaknesses and putting the effort in to make them strengths. I live my faith by attending church and partaking of the sacrament to tell my Heavenly Father that I love Him and am infinitely grateful for all that He does for me. I live my faith by using the blessings of heaven to prepare for my future, when I can pay Him back by helping Him with His great Plan of Happiness.
