Hi I'm Ann

I'm a runner. I love to garden. I have 9 children and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I feel so blessed to be a wife and a mother of 9 children I have been running for 12 years. I have completed 3 marathons. So many gospel principle have been reinforced to me as I have trained for each marathon: Endurance, "I can do hard things", magnificence of God's creations, how good friends can motivate me, etc. My favorite part about gardening and home canning is working with my family. Again, there are gospel lessons learned through gardening: faith, hard work, "law of the harvest", parable of the sower, etc.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church and have always believed it to be true. My testimony started at a very young age and has continued to grow. There is comfort in knowing where I came from, what my mission here is and where I am going after this life. The gospel has also been a great foundation to raise a family. It gives us stability in an uncertain world.

How I live my faith

I have served in many different callings throughout the years. I have found that service in the church not only strengthens by testimony but also teaches me more about myself and my abilities. Callings have given me so much confidence in life. I have served most of my adult life in the Primary - nursery leader, chorister, counselor, president, teacher, den leader. I have absolutely loved being with the children and watching their testimonies start to grow. I have also served in YW - president/ counselor/teacher, ward missionary, sunday school teacher, ward chorister and stake YW camp director.
