Hi I'm Benjamin

I just ended a full time in the Texas Houston Mission. I LOVE Spanish! I Know that my Redeemer Lives. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have played the trombone for five years. I did marching band in High School. I love spending time with my family and friends. However my passion is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. You can ask anybody close to me about that and they will tell you that is true. I am not saying that I am perfect by any stretch of the imagination. But I know that this is THE Church of Jesus Christ and I am trying to do my best to live in accordance with that knowledge.

Why I am a Mormon

Well my story is the similar to many people that have been born into this Church. It was a very gradual process. But NO ONE is entitled to a testimony of it. Everyone has to try it out for themselves. Everyone has to read in the Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ and then pray to know that it is true. That is what I have done, and what I continue to do. Because a conversion is a life-time process. It is something that has to continue onward and keep growing. That is why I like to compare it to a fire. If you don't keep adding to the fire, it dies. It also has huge potential. It can grow as much as you are willing to give it fuel. Thus it is with a conversion.

How I live my faith

I am love having the calling of home teacher because than I can help people in the Gospel in a very personal way. I also work with the young men in the Scouting program. Also a large part of how I live my faith is just by being positive about life. Yes there is a lot of crap that goes on, but that is why we have the Gospel.

Who are the Mormons?

The Mormons are a very different group of people. They are not by any stretch of the imagination perfect. However we are trying to become more like Jesus Christ. We have the nickname of Mormon because of the Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ. This book testifies bodly and clearly of the the divinity of Christ and is proof to the world that He still lives and speaks to us today so that we can come unto Him. Show more Show less
