Hi I'm Ashley

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student. I love to be adventurous and try new things; and I'm a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church, so it was never an option for me to be one or not. However, through my own experiences I have had my own personal conversion. Going to church and studying my scriptures has never been an easy task, and quite frankly I didn't enjoy it. Over the last few years I have come to know our Heavenly Father and His divine love for each of us. I started to read the Book of Mormon when times were hard and had no where else to turn; it helped guide me through those times and has made me a better person. I love our Heavenly Father and I know that he blesses us daily. He is always mindful of our trials and I know that even though sometimes it seems like we can't bear a certain trial, he gave it to us because he knows how strong we are. He is only trying to teach us and make us better people so that someday we can return to live like him and become God's and Goddesses ourselves. I know that he is always willing to listen, you can pray to him anytime you feel the need; he loves to hear from you! I know that this church is the true church, and I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. I'm so grateful for my family and for my trials and hardships. I know that everything is going to work out. I love our Heavenly Father, and His son. I'm so grateful for Christ's atonement; and I know that through the atonement we are able to return and live with them again someday.

How I live my faith

I don't have a calling right now, but I try my best to make new friends. I go to school where it is hard to find people with my same standards but it is easy to show and teach them about mine. It can sometimes be pretty nerve wracking to tell them about my faith, but after I do I am so glad I did, because often they are curious and ask questions or they are very understanding and will act appropriately around me.
