Hi I'm Jordan

I grew up in a small farming community in Southern Colorado. I work on computers, I am a student at BYU-Idaho. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a runner. I did Cross Country and Track in High School and Junior High. I continued my running by coaching Cross Country at a local High School and participating in public races. I love working with computers. I worked as a computer technician and also helped with networking. I like riding my dirt bike, hunting, shooting, spending time with friends and family, spending time outdoors, and playing tennis. I also love helping and doing service for people. I am pursuing a degree in computer information technology at BYU-Idaho.

Why I am a Mormon

I've chosen to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for many different reasons but the most important reason is because of the happiness, peace, joy, and comfort, that I receive from living the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Knowing that we can return to live with Heavenly Father as a family forever after death if we follow all of his commandments brings a lot of peace. When some one, you are close to, passes away, the Gospel of Jesus Christ brings a lot of peace and comfort knowing that you will be able to see them again. I was raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints but even when you are raised in the Church there is still a time when you have to decide whether its true or not. So, when I was in my early teenage years I read the Book of Mormon and prayed asking God if the Book of Mormon was true. After the prayer I felt a nice peaceful feeling testifying to me that the Book of Mormon was true.

How I live my faith

I try to help anyone and everyone in any way that I can. I love doing service for people and as you serve others the Lord blesses you. I currently look for ways that I can be of service to people in whatever way I can. I also always try to set a good example by following the commandments which in order to do this I have to continually repent each day to become more Christlike.
