Hi I'm Audra

I love being around my family and friends. I love playing games and having a good time. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the second child in a family of six kids. I'm a Mom of two beautiful kids. Most of my time goes to playing and being with them. When I have free time I love to read anything and everything, do crafts to beautify my home and I love playing sports (mainly softball or ultimate frisbee). I love learning new skills! Right now I am perfecting my cooking skills and eventually I want to learn to sew.

Why I am a Mormon

Why I'm a Mormon? I am a Mormon because I have been blessed by the healing power of the Priesthood and know what it can do in my life. When I was a baby I was in a car accident...me and my Mom went through the windshield of the car. The doctors told my dad that I wouldn't make it and that if I did make it I would be mentally disabled. Well, I was giving many priesthood blessings and my dad tells the story that I squeezed his finger while on paralytic meds and that is when he knew that I was going to be all right. The next day I pulled out my breathing tube. I am alive. And I am not mentally disabled. My Mom is also alive today because of the priesthood blessings she received. I have been through many trials since then...I never had any front teeth because the tooth buds were crushed. So I had surgery on my face and got dental implants. I found out in 2007 that I had Hepatitis C from blood transfusions that I had received after my car crash. I went through the treatments in 2008...that was probably the hardest thing I have ever done. I just had to keep telling myself that Jesus Christ is on my side and I can get through anything with His help. I am a Mormon because I have felt His spirit and His love every day of my life. Through good times and bad He is always there for me. I could never deny the Spirit I have felt or the miracles I have witnessed and been apart of in my life. And I know that He is there for each and every person, just as He is there for me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by making my home one where the spirit can reside. I live my faith by visiting teaching and getting to know others in my community. I live my faith by teaching my children the gospel. I hope to be called to a position where I can be an influence to the Youth and help them to grow their testimony.
