Hi I'm Kristina DuPuis

Director of Public Relations for Breast Cancer Society. I'm working on my BA in Business Sales and Marketing and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a high energy, non stop woman! I am a single mother of four children. I work full time for an international charity and am a full time online student. We live in a home that is under 900 sq ft, but is on over 2.5 acres. We LOVE it! Every little inch of it. We focus most of our extra time on developing musical talents. All of my children play multiple instruments. We are also a huge sports family. We like to sit around bon fires in the evenings and stay current on all of the latest action hero movies at the cinemas. Personally, I like to journal and I love HGTV. I pretend to be an interior designer. I repaint each room in my house annually just for fun. I am an ammature dog trainer... not a very good though :0.

Why I am a Mormon

I don't think of myself as a "Mormon". I have a personal relationship with my Savior. He is the reason I attend church each week. My heart and spirit are in great need of healing. He is the Great Physician and continually makes me whole. I went through a divorce, lost my home, moved my children twice and my oldest son is currently serving a prison sentence. My children must learn from me where to turn in times of trial...their Savior. He is here for each of us. He feels our sorrows and He lifts them. I know that all will be right if I remain faithful. Attending church services gives me the boost I need, the friendships I need, the extended support I need...but my membership in this church is becuase of Christ. I have mercifully been a recipient of His Atoning Sacrifice and I know He lives. He is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I am fortunate enough to work for an organization that allows me to serve women who are truly in need. The Breast Cancer Society's guiding mission is to provide direct assistance to those who are fighting this terrible disease today. I help organize monthly support groups, over see programs and assist in fundraising. I know these women need to receive these services, but more times than not, I am the receiver of enlightenment from their strength. I also try hard to teach my children by example. We pray daily as a family. We meet weekly as a family to discussed principles of Christlike living. We also try and find neighbors and friends to serve. Our youth need to learn how to give. They are growing up in a very selfish world. It is important to go out of our way, if needs be, to provide oppurtunities to serve. A good way to get youth involved in wholesome activities is Scouts. I find that the leadership in these groups is invaluable. As a single mother, I really appreciate the positive male role models for my children.

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Kristina DuPuis
A resounding YES! The heavens are open and God is revealing His plan for His children once again. Sit and listen to this man (Thomas S. Monson) and you will feel Gods love. He truly is the Lord's mouth piece. We are all so blessed to have the priviledge of being on the earth during such an exciting time. Show more Show less
