Hi I'm Preston

I'm an engineer, a husband and father of one. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I recently graduated from college and have started a new career. I love what I do at work as an engineer, but I also love to read good books and write poetry. With others, I like a good board game as much as a pick-up basketball game or a movie. I love to learn, as long as I'm having fun while doing it!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm Mormon because to me it makes sense. In this church we learn of a God who loves us. A God who, from the beginning, had a plan. A plan for us to come to this earth, but more importantly to return to Him after this life. And He provided a Savior, Jesus Christ, who makes that plan possible by offering us the chance to be forgiven of our sins. I am a Mormon because God's plan gives me perspective, and I know that any injustice we encounter in this life can be resolved in the next. Because His gospel gives us every possible chance to succeed. Because, if I think about it this life needs a purpose, and the one offered as an explanation by this church is the only one that makes sense to me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be a good example to my wife and son, and to treat with respect everybody I interact with. I try to think of everybody as a child of God and treat them as such--just as I would want to be treated.
