Hi I'm Nicole Bunker

I love listening to and playing music. I love to read. I'm an outgoing person. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of six children. Some of my hobbies include playing the bassoon in my school's concert band and my school district's philharmonic orchestra; playing the flute in the pep bands, and marching band; reading just about any book I can get my hands on; and spending time with my family. I enjoy taking pictures, as long as I'm not in them. I enjoy being with my friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the peace I receive from knowing I have a purpose in this world. I am not here on the earth to just live and then die, but to share the message of the gospel with all those I meet. I am not just a random name, but a daughter of God. He knows me by name and is always looking out for me. I see examples of this everywhere I look. He has given me so much and expects so little in return. What He does expect from me is easy to do. I need to be an example to others through word and deed, I need to recognize His hand in all things, and I need to serve others. It is not hard to all these things, but there are moments when I forget. During these moments of forgetfulness, He sends me little reminders. He will send a friend to comfort me when I’m having a bad day, He sends someone my way who needs to be served, and most of all He will open my eyes to see the beauty in the world.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to find someone to serve everyday. By looking for people to serve, I usually end up finding more than one. The service I give can be as simple as a smile. I’ve seen a friend at school and just smiled and said “hi” to them in the halls. They have come up to me either the next day or sometime later and will tell me that just me noticing them, they had better day. Service doesn’t have to be a major thing. It doesn’t even have to take more than a minute. I always feel better about myself when I have taken the time out of my busy schedule to help someone in need. By serving others, I have found that I have more time to get done what I need to do
