Hi I'm Jeff

I'm a Mormon and have been my entire life, my parents were converts to the church.

About Me

I'm a father of four (2 girls, 2 boys, youngest son died at age 5), I have a beautiful eternal companion, love to spend time with my family. I enjoy sports, cars & trucks, gardening and working on projects. I manage a countertop fabrication facility and have been in this industry for over 25 years. I did attend and currently still attend the school of hard knocks and "all these things shall give thee experience university. I have lived in the same area all my life and watched the church grow from two wards to currently nine and the Stake splitting. I have served in many callings over the years, from Scoutmaster to Bishopric to High Council and have learned, grown and enjoyed every calling.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family that were already members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints but as I grew up and realized that I make my own decisions things changed. I was blessed to have a foundation of gospel principles laid by my parents, teachers and leaders. This did not mean I was immune to bad decisions, sin or the reality of Satan. I have made good decisions and some bad decisions and as we all work, strive and struggle I realized how much my Heavenly Father and Saviour loved me. I am a simple, mortal man who goofs up from time to time but I know that because of the great plan of happiness my Heavenly Father has for all his children and the amazing blessings of the Atonement of Jesus Christ I can gain eternal happiness despite myself. I am a Mormon by my own choice and I love it! I love the unity and structure the church has thru out the world. It is awesome to know that other members on the other side of the world believe, teach, live and love the same things that I do. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the gospel Jesus Christ applies to and can be understood by ALL and that is simple , powerful and beautiful.

How I live my faith

I have the opportunity to talk with many people thru business associates all over the country which allows me often to share by word and actions my faith. This comes by how I speak, react, talk and the no coffee, tea or alcohol discussions. My current church assignment allows me many opportunities to teach, minister and serve just as the Saviour did during his ministry on earth. His example gives me hope and faith in all things and everyone. I have the wonderful blessing to take my son with me as we go to visit the families we have assigned to us to Home Teach that allows us to love, be with, watch over and strengthen these families and as we do we to are blessed. Learning to love and serve in our home and others teaches me how to live my beliefs and increase my faith. I feel that going to church on Sunday does not make you a Mormon or any other religion , you have be what you believe every minute of everyday. Being Christian is not a part time job, another lesson from Jesus Christ, our Saviour has always been and always will be Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer.
