Hi I'm Mason

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am going to school right now studying Psychology with a minor in Art History. I lived in Chile for three years and Romania for two. I love to read and run. Spending time with my little brother is also a lot of fun.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saint's because I know that it is God's Church her on earth. As a child I saw how my parents lived the gospel of Christ and how it was good. This started my teaching of the truth of the church. I found out for myself by reading the Book of Mormon. I really wanted to know for myself if it was true, so I took this tangible evidence and read it many many times. I prayed and asked God if it was true and got my answer by the Holy Ghost that the book is true. I know it is and as I continue to read it and live by it's principles I have seen blessings of the Lord in my life. The Book of Mormon, a companion to the Holy Bible, is true, no doubt about it. I had the great opportunity to serve as a missionary for the Lord, and this further taught me that what I believe is true. I got to see changes in others lives and in my own. That's what the gospel does, it changes us, brings us closer to our Heavenly Father. That is why I'm a Mormon. Because I know that it is God's religion on the earth and it's ordinances and principles will show me the way to my Father in Heaven.

How I live my faith

One thing Christ did was he served others, he taught others. The Church allows us opportunities to do the same and learn to be disciples of Christ. I teach Sunday school in the congregation I go to (right now we are studying the New Testament), I also get to visit members and talk with them and help them with their needs (I have people who visit me too. Isn't that awesome!). I live my faith by striving to learn how to be a disciple of Christ. I'm not perfect but I'm trying to follow His perfect example.
