Hi I'm Jason

I'm a husband. I'm a father. I'm a gamer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the Southeast. I love the green, the trees, the rain, and it's always been my home. I have a passion for games. I play to learn, to improve, and to win. I enjoy the challenge, the storytelling, and the camaraderie. I am a proud husband and father. I love my family. I spend my days working, but it's when I'm able to come home and spend time with my family that I truly feel accomplished.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it makes sense. It answers the questions that I have about life and death, the universe, and why we are alive, and what our purpose is. Through the teachings of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, I have been able to develop and enjoy a strong relationship with God. I remember gaining knowledge of the existence of God as a youth, and since then my relationship with him has grown through prayer, scripture study, and a desire to know him better. It has not always been easy. There have been doubts, fears, and uncertainty, but I have always been happier and more fulfilled when I have lived by the teachings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I try to live my life in a way that demonstrates my compassion for other people, even strangers that I meet in passing on a day-to-day basis. I am always striving to improve myself, to search out my weaknesses and make them strengths, so I can become a better husband and father. I volunteer as an administrative assistant in my church to assist in scheduling, note taking, and assist in the general ministry to members. I've learned that by serving others, I am better able to feel the love of God in my life.
