Hi I'm Lyna Gamba

I'm a filipina! I love Hawaii! I love to smile! I love my family! I love everyone! And I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I served my mission in the Hawaii Honolulu Mission including the Hawaii Temple Visitors' Center and Hanalei, Kauai. It was worthwhile serving a full-time mission for 18 months. I've seen miracles every single day. I learned so much that helped me be a better person. I had great companions. As I have mentioned that I love everyone. Yes I do! I love to smile. I believe that smile makes everyone happy and makes our day fantastic. I am taking BYU-Hawaii online classes now. And I am going back to Hawaii for school in BYU-Hawaii hopefully in August 2014. I am very out going. I love hiking, playing basketball, swimming, etc... I do love singing, dancing and playing ukulele. I also love my family! They are so special to me.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe that Jesus Christ is my best friend. I know that the Book of Mormon is a word of God and testifies of Jesus Christ's atonement. I love the gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that God is our loving Heavenly Father. He loves me and I love Him. I show my love to him by obeying His commandments. I am not perfect. I fall short sometimes but through reading my scriptures (The Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, Pearl of Great Price, the Bible and other church books and magazines) I am always reminded to strive hard everyday to become like Jesus Christ. Also, the Holy Ghost is always there to guide me and he is my best friend.

How I live my faith

I love the Atonement of Jesus Christ in my life. I went through a lot of challenges. I know that through applying the teachings of Jesus in my life that I can always overcome my struggles in life. The Atonement of Jesus Christ is real. I also love my calling in the church. I live my faith by magnifying my callings and serve everyone around me. I am a Sunday school teacher and as I teach that I would learn and apply the principles of the gospel in my daily life.
