Hi I'm Kate

I'm an athlete. A coach. A cook. And I'm a Latter-Day Saint.

About Me

I'm the 6th of 9 kids. I love trying new things, playing the piano, traveling, being outdoors, 4wheeling, camping, hiking, boating and sports, mostly volleyball, basketball and rock climbing. I graduated from college in 3 years with a Bachelor's in Exercise Science. I love to cook, mostly making desserts. I like playing games, but I'm very competitive and have been known to tackle siblings going after the mail or phone. Playing slapping-card games usually results in multiple injuries. I love to have fun, laugh and tell jokes. What's brown and sticky? ...A stick!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the LDS Church and have always known it is true. When I moved away to college I was surrounded by AMAZING roommates who helped me to want to stay true. When I moved to New York to work for a summer, I really learned how much the gospel meant to me. Life without it seems so empty and lonely. The gospel has given me so much peace through so many hard times and I know I wouldn't be in the place I am and want to be without it. I have so many friends and such a great support system that I know I can make it through anything because I'm a Latter-Day Saint.

How I live my faith

One of my best friends once told me: Preach the gospel, use words if necessary. I try to always be positive and live so others can see the light the gospel has given me and have a desire to know how they can have it as well.
