Hi I'm Quang

I always have happiness in my family. I'm very outgoing. I have faith in Jesus Christ. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I came to the U.S. in 1993. I have a wonderful wife and two children. I love to serve in the Church and the community. I love to play sports. I love learning more about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I like to learn from other people and make changes to better myself. I love to pray. I became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints in 1997.

Why I am a Mormon

I always want to learn the truths about God. I wanted to know who Jesus Christ is and how to increase faith in Him. I wanted to learn more about the scriptures. My wife joined the Church before I did. When I was still dating her, I had a chance to sit down and listen to the missionary discussions. I wanted to know why the Mormon missionaries do what they do. I wanted to know how they think they can succeed. I wanted to know if what they said were true. The missionaries taught me how to pray. I prayed for months to have more faith. My faith was really challenged. The Spirit of the Lord through my prayers helped me make the choice and be baptized. I know that the Book of Mormon is another testament of the Lord Jesus Christ. It strengthens my faith in Jesus Christ and testifies about the Restoration of the Church through the prophet Joseph Smith.

How I live my faith

I learn and obey the commandments of God. I try to understand the doctrines of the Church. I practice the Words of Wisdom by not drinking and smoking. I love my family. I do my best to take care of my wife and my children. I always try to learn more about my priesthood responsibilities, and exercise those to bless my family and those around me.

What do Mormons believe is the purpose of life?

Part of the reason why we are here on Earth is to have a family. And we believe that family is eternal. Show more Show less
