Hi I'm Brian

I'm a missionary. I'm a runner. I'm a uni-cyclist. I'm a guitarist. I love piano. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a 18 year missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. My home town is San Antonio Texas, and I am currently serving a mission to Brazil. I love playing all kinds of sports from football to ping pong, and I'm also a competitive runner. I've ran Cross Country for two years as well as ran a few half marathons. I also love learning interesting new skills such as unicycling and yo-yoing. I've also developed a love for music, and I've had the opportunity to learn the piano and the guitar. Unfortunately, I don't have the most beautiful voice in the world to back it up. I love serving as a missionary, and dedicating these two years of my life to sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ, and the great message that his church is restored on the Earth. Throughout my life, I've had a love for learning as well as having fun. I know I've been very fortunate growing up in the gospel, and it has led me to really love my family, and I have always wanted to share that happiness with everyone that I can. So, this random mixation above is pretty much me in a nutshell.

Why I am a Mormon

I was fortunate enough to grow up in the gospel. My family is very active in the church, and I was raised and taught to do the same. Even though this is how I grew up, I knew I really had to gain a testimony of my own. I'll admit that my personal conversion is not super grand, but it has certainly set a path for my life that I know will lead to happiness if I follow it. I have often wondered about details and even the gospel as a whole. I have had questions about Joseph Smith, and the Restoration. I have often been taught about these at church and from my parents, but I've only truly learned and received answers when I've prayed and felt the Spirit testify to me of their truth. I was able to lean on the beliefs and teachings of my parents for most of my life, but at a certain point, I realized that that was not enough. Through prayer and study in the scriptures, I have been able to build and strengthen my own testimony of Jesus Christ, Joseph Smith, our current day prophet Thomas S. Monson, and many other aspects of the gospel. I am a Mormon because I believe that this gospel is the truth. Living faithfully has made me such a happier person and has helped me grow so much closer with my family. I believe in Jesus Christ and all of his teachings. I know that this is the true church, and I hope others can find this same truth and happiness.

How I live my faith

I am able to attend church every Sunday, and it is certainly a boost for my week. As a full time missionary for my church, I have the oppurtunity everyday to study and pray about my faith. I also get to teach how it brings joy and happiness to all of us. I am devoting 2 years of my life so that I can help bring the message of the gospel of Christ to everybody I can, and I love doing it so much. Being able to do this service is really a great opportunity, and I'm lucky I get to do it. I have strong morals and values that I've been taught since I was young, and they help me make good choices in my life. I live my faith every day through what I do and how I treat others. I try to be the same person everywhere I go that I am at church and home. I try to be an example of what I believe in what I say and do.
