Hi I'm Melese

I grew up in Joseph City AZ. I'm a wife. I'm a mother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the 4th of 10 children. My family has always been important to me and being away from them makes me appreciate them even more. I grew up in a very small town, so small that my graduating class was a whole 30 students. I'm a stay at home mom and wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. It's the most important job I could ever have. As a hobby I make cakes; wedding, birthday, christmas, shower, you name it. I also do cupcakes and cake balls :)

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and developed a testimony early in life. I didn't rely on my parents testimony because I diligently sought to find my own. I know the Book of Mormon is the word of God, that it was translated correctly by Joseph Smith and that he was a prophet. I know my Savior Jesus Christ lives and that he atoned for our sins in the Garden of Gethsemane and then sealed it with his life later on the cross. I know he was resurrected and that through Him we can become like Him and return to live with our Heavenly Father. I know President Monson is a prophet and I sustain the other leaders of the church. I know that if I keep the commandments and endure to the end that I will be able to live with my family forever.

How I live my faith

I recently moved into a new ward. But so far I've subbed for a primary class (which is a lot more challenging than it seems). I helped with our ward talent show as well by submitting my own talent by making cake balls and helping to set up other people's talents such as quilting or artwork.
