Hi I'm Chris

I am a Eagle Scout, a black belt, a Star Wars fan, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

To get to know me is a little more difficult than others. I am one of the quiet people that you always see. It takes a bit for me to go out of my way and meet new people. But once you know me, I really open up and become a friendly person. I am the oldest child in my family and currently I am going to college and trying to get my degree in Mechanical Engineering. I am a huge fan of Star Wars and Star Trek as well. I have just about anything Star Wars related, including legos. That is one of my favorite hobbies to do, just to sit down and build something with legos. I am also a fan of video games. I am also a big fan of food and spending time with friends and family. I have graduated High School with Honors. I got my Eagle Scout award when I was 17. I have my first degree black belt. Reading is also another good pass time for me. When I can find the time to do it that is. Over all, I am a very nice, friendly, cheerful, helpful, kind of guy.

Why I am a Mormon

For me, I have always grown up in the church. My mother was raised in the church as well. My dad joined the church after he married my mom. They raised me with a strong belief in God and Jesus Christ. That has helped me to find peace and direction in life. I love being a part of this church. I have stayed with the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because it has all of the knowledge and direction that we need to return to live with our Heavenly Father again. I have read the Book of Mormon many times and know it to be another witness of Jesus Christ, to go along with the Bible. With both books I have found so much about God and Jesus Christ. It gives me great comfort and relief to know that our Heavenly Father is there and that he loves each and every one of us. He wants to help us every step of the way and I couldn`t ask for anything more in my life. And that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is His restored church on the earth today.

How I live my faith

For myself living my faith is a continual work in progress. I read the scriptures each day and go to church each week. As well as praying every chance that I can get. Those things really help me to stay close to God and helps me to remember why I am here. With doing those every day things I try my best to follow what God has asked us to do. It isn`t easy some days, but I am never alone. I also go with my dad to other members of the church to help them and strengthen them if they need it. It helps us to be unified and watching out and supporting one another. Also I help other young men from ages 16-18 to give service and understand the Gospel better. It gives me peace of mind when I help others and see that their lives are better and they have more peace and direction in what they do.
